Our main gathering at South West Rocks - a friendly, relaxed service,  with teaching from the Bible, a mix of contemporary and traditional songs, prayers, and the Lord's Supper. Children are welcomed and included - there’s a kids’ song, and activity packs are provided. Safe Church Awareness Training

We take the safety of people in our church community very seriously, so every person involved in leadership, or working with children, youth or vulnerable adults as a representative of Lower Macleay Anglican Church is required to satisfy our Diocese’s (organising body’s) safe ministry requirements, including undertaking Safe Church Awareness Training every three years. The course is approved by the National Council of Churches Australia. And this month we’re hosting it at Holy Trinity Church Hall!

The course runs from 9.30am to 4.00pm, and open to people from all participating denominations. It costs $35 per person, which covers training, materials and morning and afternoon tea; you’ll need to provide your own lunch, or pick up a sandwich at one of South West Rocks’ great bakeries. Registration is essential: ring Linda Predo on 02 6642 4122.

Our Op Shop volunteers do an amazing job, sorting, pricing, ironing and transporting all sorts of donated goods; arranging and presenting, tidying and keeping records, and they are there with a smile and a chat for anyone who comes in to the shop. Today we let them know they are cherished, with a sumptuous High Tea at Holy Trinity Church Hall.
