Children and their parents, grandparents or carers gather from 10am on Friday mornings at our church hall in South West Rocks (15-17 McIntyre Street).

Schedule:

10.00am Arrive and settle: Playdough for the kids, morning tea for the grown ups

10.30am Songs and actions, and a story in the story corner!

10.45am Kids’ snack: we provide a small bowl of fruit and rice crackers, plus water, feel free to BYO.

11.00am Craft: we make something related to the week’s theme, with a focus on fine motor skills and interesting textures - and good plain fun.

Then it’s free play time! You can expect some ride-on toys, climbing frame, cars and trucks, dress-ups, home-maker toys, sensory fun, dolls, musical instruments, and sporty toys.

Play Group is church-run, so there will always be a Christian faith element to what we do, but the group is open to everyone, regardless of your background or beliefs.

Families pay $5 up front for a term, plus $2 per week. Tea, coffee and snacks are included, and if money is an issue, please talk with us - we don’t want it to be a barrier for anyone.

How to join: Our books are open at present, so just show up on the day, and see if it’s for you. Dress is comfy clothes that wash well or don’t matter, and expect a bit of mess!
